Asia cup is going to start from today 15 June 2010 to 24 June 2010 at Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium. The first Asia Cup tournament was played in 1983 and was scheduled to be played after every two years.
2010 Asia Cup tournament will be starting on June 15, Tuesday with first match between the host team Sri Lanka and Pakistan.
India is looking to get the crown of Asia Cup 2010 after 15 years. On the other hand, no one can ignore Sri Lanka who is the winner of last two Asia cups. The runner up team was India.
According to the previous stats of Asia cup, Sri Lankan team is looking strong with 26 won and 10 loss out of 36 matches played. On the other hand, India won only 19 matches with 12 loss out of total of 32 matches played. So is it possible for young India to win this tournament without the star batsman Sachin Tendulkar and attacker Yuvraj Singh?
In this cup, only four teams are playing. The four Asian Teams are Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh and India.
