All the Info You Need for JEE 2016

The JEE is the examination conducted by CBSE for admission in the engineering colleges all over India. Every year a huge number of students appear for the exam in the hope of getting good college for pursuing the B.Tech degree. In the year 2015 approximately 13 lakh students appeared for the JEE Main examination.

Eligibility Criteria for JEE Main
There are certain eligibility criteria you need follow to be able to apply for the JEE Main exam. Candidates require to have a date of birth after 1 October 1991 to be eligible to appear for the JEE 2016. However, for candidates who are Scheduled Caste (SC), ST and person with disabilities (PwD) have been given a relaxation of 5 years. These students can apply if the date of birth is after 1 October 1986.

About the Registration
For the candidates to appear in the JEE examination, the student needs to have an admit card. The last date for filling up the form online had been extended to January 11, 2016. The online form fill up requires uploading scanned images of student’s photograph, signature and thumb impression. Along with the online form fill up the students, also need to submit an examination fee through online transaction. However, before applying for the admit card for the exam the student needs to register in the JEE website and have a password protected account in it for further notices.

Syllabus for JEE Main
The students aspiring to be engineer and architecture appear for the JEE Main examination. The conducting body CBSE has set up the syllabus by topic wise breaking up the sections of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The syllabus mainly covers the important concepts of the class 12h books for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The candidates can go to the website of the JEE examination and download the syllabus set for the exam in PDF format.

Exam Important dates
The exam dates are announced and the JEE Mains 2016 is suppose to take place on April 03, 2016. However, students appearing for the online test will appear on April 09, 2016 and April 10, 2016. The students who have submitted the examination fee along with all the other important documents can expect to download their admit cards on 2nd week of March 2016 for the JEE 2016 examination. The conducting body releases an answer key and OMR sheet so that students can check their answers and determine the marks. The answer will be released on 4th week of April 2016. The All India Rank will declare before 30 June.

Exam Centers for JEE
There are lists of cities where the national level examination will take place. The students can appear for the JEE Main 2016 examination in offline and online modes. There are total 125 cities where the 2016 exams will take place. The conducting body also conducts the exam in foreign countries. There are going to be examination centers in Kathmandu, Singapore, Bahrain, Dubai, Riyadh, and Sharjah.
