Delhi building collapse : Dera first to lend helping hand

Delhi Building collapse LaxmiNagarNovember 15, 2010, a five-storey building collapsed at Lalita Park in Laxmi Nagar of East Delhi, taking lives of around 70 peoples. Approx 80-90 were injured and some of them were in hospitals.

As per Delhi Police, the building was illegal and the the owner of this building, Amrit Singh, is under Police custody.

Rescue Team continued their efforts to save the people. The first who formed the part of this rescue team was Dera Sacha Sauda’s welfare team known as Shah Satnam Ji Green S Welfare Force. This force continued whole Monday night taking out the people trapped in the rubbles of the building. The point to be noted here is that the Administration reached the spot next day, Tuesday morning. Till morning, except this Dera’s welfare force, no one was there to hear the screaming voices.

When these Dera’s workers 3 members (Gulshan Insan, Kamal Insan, Ravi Insan) reached the spot and saw the disaster, they called other volunteers. The Green S force brought all the equipments needed to save lives.

The main point to note here is that while some members of Green S Force were busy in saving human-beings from the debris, other members were donating blood to the injured in hospitals. The third part of this Force was providing food to the needy.
Also, they got gold, silver, cash (some lakhs), mobiles, etc. from the debris of collapsed building but instead of distributing among themselves, they submitted all the items to the Delhi Shakkarpur Police Station in presence of SHO, ACP and DCP.

Police officials were very surprised by this honesty. Officials added that had there been any other at your place; they would have distributed all these among themselves.

I was able to grab the below video from youtube showing the welfare work.

But I was moved on by a question asked by Dera Team in it.
“Why Media was unable to see Dera Sacha Sauda Team helping the people?
Why Dera’s name was not highlighted?”

Obviously, if Media will praise any such welfare tasks then the common man will also be inspired and he will also act the same way. In this way, more rescue teams would be formed and many more lives can be saved if any such disastrous happen anywhere.

Yes, these works should be admired by all.

But still the question exists?

Why Media doesn’t show any Welfare Activity done by Dera Sacha Sauda?

I am even unable to see any news regarding the Unbelievable Movement by Dera against Prostitution.

Shouldn’t such movements that are in benefit of humanity be exaggerated, inspite of exaggerating the rootless useless spicy news?
