IIFA (International Indian Film Academy) award has been announced for the year 2010. This award is given every year to the bollywood actors/actress for their outstanding performances in the previous year. IIFA is the only award-ceremony which gives right for voting to the entire film industry and after that, the votes are also opened for the public everywhere around the world. The awards are given according to the performances of previous calendar year.
The first ceremony of these prizes was held at The Millennium Dome in London, United Kingdom and the beginning year was 2000, the starting year of 20th century.
These honors are honored for different categories like Best Actor, Best Actress, Music Director, Director, Best Film, Supporting Actor, Supporting Actress, Lyrics, Playback Singer Male, Best Playback Singer Female etc.
This year it was held in Colombo, Sri Lanka and was the 11th Indian International Film Academy (IIFA) awards 2010.
Last year released Aamir Khan starrer film 3 Idiots was the big winner in that ceremony which got total of 8 honors including Best Film of the year. The super Megastar Amitabh Bachchan was awarded as Best Actor for his role of Progeria afflicted child Auro in Film Paa.
Vidya Balan from Paa and Kareena Kapoor from 3 Idiots jointly shared the Best Female Actress Award on 5th June, 2010. The Best Debut Female Actress award was given to Sri lankan born Bollywood Actress Jacqueline Fernandez for her role in the film Aladin. And Sanjay Dutt received Best Comedian Actor honor for his performance in film ‘All The Best’. Boman Irani received Best Negative Role Performer prize for his role in 3 Idiots.

° Lifetime Achievement Honor– Veteran filmmaker J Om Prakash, Maternal grandfather of Hrithik Roshan and Yesteryear siren Zeenat Aman.
The next ceremony for International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Ceremony 2011 will be held in Toronto, Canada.
Lots of congratulations to Katz.!!! she is all set to get a best actress award this year for her power packed performance in Rajniti along with beau Salaman Khan for his Damdaar acting in Dabang. Come on Darls Salman has to get the best actor award this year for Dabang.
Award giving organizations like filmfare, iifa and zeecine ets can not be that much partial, biased and crucial. This is the voice and verdict of the multitude and every Indian. when entire world is appreciating and honoring these great human beings. why they are neglected by their own people.

Even his average hits and flop movies collected the intitials. WTFm to get this prestefious award to heroes like Abhishek, Amitabh in ” Paa” ( does any body think that Amitabh had done good acting in Paa….it’s over acting Ya’ar).
Salman dear is so kind. He spends millions in cherity. If awards are to be purchased than Salman could have bought them long back. This is the golden opportunity for these awards giving institutions to proove their authenticity. PLease grant Salman and Katrina the best film actor awards this year for Dabang/ Veer anf Rajniti.
what is the meaning of best actor…I’ll tell you an actor who can carry afilm on his shoulders gracefully. Dabang, Wanted, Hum apke hain kaun, maine payar kiya, Judwa and bibi no 1 were solely depended on Salman. Then why this step motherly behaviour with this cute and popular actor.
