Every bowler dreams to take the precious wicket of Sachin Tendulkar, if not in every match then at least once in his lifetime. Rohit Sharma of India, who was playing from Pune Warriors side is that lucky bowler who was successful in taking Tendulkar’s wicket at the match played at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.
Rohit Sharma is the only bowler to take this precious wicket in the current season of IPL 4. Sachin remained not out in all the last three matches played. In his first match, he scored 46 not out; in second, he was 55 not out and in the third match, he was on 100 and not-out.
Till now in this current IPL season, he has scored a total of 236 runs in 4 matches, including 1 century and 1 half century. His only 20-20 century was against Kochi Tuskers, Kerala while his half century was against Royal Challengers, Bangalore. And with this, he has once again bagged the orange cap with highest run maker in IPL 4.
Mumbai Indians have played four matches till now. Out of these matches, they have won 3. They have lost only one match in which Sachin made a brilliant century. It was bad luck of our Master Blaster that inspite of his hundred, the team was unable to win. In the fourth match which was played between MI and PWE, Mumbai Indians won by 7 wickets. Sachin made 35 runs and lost his wicket for the first time in this season. Rohit Sharma successfully sent him to the pavilion.
