Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) is always in the mission to provide better service to the people. Recently Delhi Metro has decided to start a new Helpline number for the people of the city.
Previously the number was 128 128, which was issued eight years ago by DMRC. One was able to access any time of information regarding Delhi Metro say timing, route or fair of metro with this number. But the limitation with this number was that you can not dial this number from your mobile phone. Only landline users were able to access this helpline.
But now on the event of New Year, DMRC is planning to come with a new Helpline Number 155 363. You can use this number by dialing 011 (Delhi Code) in the beginning of the number.
The people residing outside Delhi can also use this service by just dialing 011-155 363. Even one can avail this service from there mobile phones also. However the number is not toll free but it can be dialed both from land line as well as mobile phones.
It is a 24 hour Helpline number and peoples can register any type of complaints, suggestions and queries regarding Delhi Metro from 1st of Jan 2011 on this new helpline. Besides this, you can also give your suggestions and complaints directly in the suggestion book which is available at all Metro Stations with station managers.
In the suggestion book that is available with Station Manager, you can register any query and can further ask them also about the status of your query that you filed. But it will be your duty to take care of your suggestion and take the required follow-ups as if you will not do this, chances are that the station manager can forget about your suggestion and you end in just wasting your time and efforts.
